Ancient Ones by Lisa Cardenas, Mixed Media on Canvas change 20" x 24" (x2)20 x 20 Original Artwork Biography Lisa Cardenas grew up in El Paso, Texas and later moved to Dallas in 2004 where she spent several years studying art. In 2006, she enrolled in the College of Visual Arts and Design, in Denton, Texas, and continued on to graduate school in Dallas, Texas. Lisa currently works in her studio daily. Through a progression of applying various layers of paint, the scraping and removal begins to take place alluding to a
