Since Nebraska is so much a part of the Great Plains I can think of nothing more iconic than the sculptural vision of an old windmill standing watch over the prairie

A raised silver bead where the last light of the day kisses the water line adds the same embellishment as the original

The original Nine Trees was inspired by seeing the super moon illuminating the trees against the night sky

it does not include the raised dimensional metal (this is a photo of the metal in the original)

Michele and I did the Madison Art Show a couple of times and visited their families lake cottage near Eau Claire. That was my inspiration for the three Wisconsin map paintings. Michele is from Wisconsin so I've travelled through a lot of this beautiful state exploring while visiting her family. This painting could have been called "Up North, Hey!'
