Saladin, Gold Dinar, al-Qahira, AH 579. reverse variety with mint markAyyubid, al Nasir Salah al Din Yusuf I, Saladin, (AH 564 589 1169 93 AD), gold Dinar, al Qahira, AH 579, two marginal inscriptions, and a central inscription in two lines, on both obverse and reverse, naming the Abbasid caliph al Nasir, as commander of the faithful in the inner obverse marginal legend, and, on the reverse naming Saladin in the inner marginal legend as, 'dil, al malik, 'lim, salah al din, and in two lines at the centre, as Yusuf b.
