The split centre section is made from a much softer foam. The split, cut three quarters of the way up the foam is to allow a calico flap attached to the seat cover to be pulled through to tension the cover when fitted. Adhesive is not supplied we suggest you use a contact adhesive to glue the foam to the metal frame.
