What is molecular hydrogen?

Molecular Hydrogen is a very small, stable, neutrally charged molecule. It’s small enough that it can cross cellular membranes, and the blood-brain barrier, allowing it to access DNA and mitochondria within our cells.

Molecular hydrogen is an incredibly efficient anti-oxidant that can protect and reduce free radicals and in return it suppresses the oxidative stress that often leads to the progression of diseases.

What is a Kangen Water machine?

A Kangen Water machine is a water ionisation system that converts regular tap water into Kangen Water, that is a filtered, antioxidant and alkaline water.

These beneficial properties come from the process of electrolysis. After filtering, the water gets to the electrolysis chamber, where it is divided into Hydrogen and Oxygen and Hydrogen gets dissolved into your drinking water. This excess Hydrogen content makes the water so special.

Machine overview

A Kangen Water machine separates water to alkaline and acidic water and it has 2 hoses accordingly. The main hose is the source of alkaline Kangen Water, rich in H+ ion and the secondary hose is the output of acidic water rich in OH- ion.

Overview

The filtered water passes through a chamber with several platinum-dipped titanium plates. These plates are positively and negatively charged, that causes the water (i.e. H2O) to break apart into H+ and OH-.

The negatively charged ions are attracted to the positively charged plates, while the positively charged ions are attracted to the negatively charged plates. The positively charged H+ is the Hydrogen ion that gives the alkalinity and health benefits of Kangen Water, while the negatively charged Hydroxide ion OH- creates acidic water.

The two types of water streams are separated by membranes and released through separate hoses.

The high quality internal filter filters materials such as chlorine, lead, rust and impurities and reduces sediment down to 5 micrometers to produce clean water.

Negative ORP

Kangen Water has a negative Redox potential (ORP), that eliminates Free Radicals in your body.

Micro-clustered structure

Tap water molecules tends to combine into clusters, that are harder to process for your body. Ionization loosens these clusters, creating a Micro-cluster structure, that provides easier absorbtion.

pH stands for power of Hydrogen (or potential Hydrogen) and it shows whether a solution is acidic (pH<7), neutral (pH=7) or alkaline (pH>7).

Our bodies maintain a pH of 7.365, which is slightly alkaline. Kangen Water with a pH of 9.5 can help your body maintain that alkalinity and keep your body younger.

In the process of Electrolysis water molecules are restructures into smaller clusters for better absorption in the body.

Regular water sources, like tap water and bottled water, have 15-26 molecules per cluster. Kangen Water is made up of 5-6 molecules in each cluster, that allows better hydration, because it’s more readily absorbed by the body. This is also the reason why Kangen Water tastes silky and it is easier to drink.
