Engraved 1840s Antique Braided Hair Brooch Pin Mourning Jewelry empty Minerva Cornell was the photographerOriginal 1840s pin brooch with hair under glass. This was from the family estate of a descendant of George Mifflin Dallas, who was US Vice President under James K. Polk and on the back, I believe the engraved initials read, "B. C. W. to G. W. D.". Brooch is in very good antique condition. The pin is affixed and functional. A tiny bit over 1 inch across. 8197A
